Sparrows Point residents are fed up with midges, a nuisance insect that is worse this year than most can remember. Residents said there isn't enough being done to mitigate the problem. While there isn't a clear answer as to why the midges are so bad this year, some blame heavy rains. Others said they didn't spray early enough in the spring.
