The Prince and Princess of Wales have greeted French President Emmanuel Macron and his wife Brigitte on behalf of the King as their state visit to the UK got under way. William and Kate had travelled to RAF Northolt in west London on Tuesday morning to accompany the Macrons by car to Windsor, ready for a carriage ride through the Berkshire town and a full ceremonial welcome at the castle.
