A hot afternoon in many places in the south and southeast but feeling fresher in the north and west. A band of rain across central & southern Scotland, northern and far southwest England and parts of Wales, some of these heavy at times. Northwest of Scotland and much of Northern Ireland see dry weather with some sunshine and the best of sunshine will be across central, southern and eastern England. - This is the Met Office UK weather forecast for the afternoon of 01/07/2025.
