The United States military launched airstrikes on three Iranian nuclear sites early Sunday, marking a significant escalation in the ongoing conflict between Israel and Iran.
The strikes targeted the Fordo, Isfahan, and Natanz nuclear facilities, utilizing American stealth bombers and the GBU-57 Massive Ordnance Penetrator, a 30,000-pound bunker-buster bomb, according to U.S. officials.
President Donald Trump disclosed the strikes, emphasizing the collaboration with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. "It was a very warm conversation, very emotional," Netanyahu said in a video message, praising Trump as a friend of Israel.
