Heavy, showery bursts of rain will arrive from the southwest of England and Northern Ireland this evening before moving their way across Northern Ireland, England, Wales and southern and western Scotland overnight. Towards the northeast of Scotland however it should remain dry with some clear skies, once any evening showers have passed.
