Southwestern Pennsylvania continues to clean up from flooding rains that swept over the region Friday, prompting Allegheny County officials to declare a countywide disaster emergency. The afternoon deluge triggered widespread flash flooding in the Pittsburgh region, forcing rescue teams to evacuate dozens of people, according to the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette. Torrential downpours in southern Indiana drowned out some roadways and forced multiple water rescues on Friday. Roughly six inches of rain as storms moved through Kentuckiana. Friday storms dropped a lot of rain on the area, leading to flash flooding in some neighborhoods. The video is of South Water Street in Salem, where waters were halfway up to the stop sign and cars were almost fully submerged.
