AAYEGA — or in other words, “He will come” — is God’s promise to each one of us, no matter what season of life we may be in. God’s promises and timing — though unknown, delayed, and sometimes even frustrating — are perfect for you, based on what you need and when you need it.
I wrote this song out of the same struggle and doubt we all experience as humans — the way Mary did, questioning the timing of Jesus when she was waiting for Him to save her brother Lazarus. They had lost all hope and belief in what lies ahead of the situation that they were in. But little did they know that Gods glory was meant to be revealed through their circumstance.
Be of good cheer. Just as they were unaware, many times so are we — not knowing His timing or what He has in store for each of us. Our greatest victory can come out of our greatest trial that we may have or be facing.
Hold on, stand strong, and keep the faith — My Jesus is on His way.
