The Fund for Educational Excellence celebrated Baltimore's principals Thursday night with a big awards ceremony. Five principals from across the city were selected as the 2025 Heart of the School Award recipients. At the annual event, WBAL-TV 11's Breanna Ross presented those principals with $2,500 for their schools to use as they see fit. This year's awardees were Northwood Elementary School's Erita Adams, Moravia Park Elementary School's Caitlyn Brooks, the REACH! Partnership School's James Gresham, Forest Park High School's Nina Mouzone and Mount Royal Elementary/Middle School's Steve Skeen.
