Baltimore is no longer on a list of 25 most dangerous cities, and one of the reasons that's possible is how city leaders are coordinating in their work to keep residents safe. Statistics show Baltimore is becoming safer. One way that happens is monitoring by the Emergency Operations Center. First responders from local and state agencies collaborate to monitor cameras, weather conditions, updates from the ground and a host of other tools at their disposal.
