Bulgaria chaos today!! Unprecedented hailstorm devastates Stara Zagora and Yambol

The severe weather brought a terrifying storm and hail in a matter of hours. 8 cities are under threat, including Stara Zagora and Yambol. Three villages in the Yambol region were damaged by hail, the worst storms hit Tenevo and Skalica.

Shortly before 5 p.m., heavy rain mixed with hazelnut-sized hail fell south of Stara Zagora. The rain lasted about 20 minutes. Meteo Balkans warned that a tornado might form at the southern end of the storm.
