Detectives arrested a 15-year-old repeat offender in connection with a kidnapping and robbery of a 12-year-old boy, Baltimore police said. City police said detectives arrested the teenager and took him to the Juvenile Justice Center on charges of armed robbery and kidnapping. Police said the 12-year-old boy was walking to school in the 2500 block of Aisquith Street on Monday when three assailants approached and implied they were armed. Police said the assailants demanded the boy's belongings, but the boy refused. The assailants forced the boy into a nearby house, where they assaulted him and stole his phone and sneakers, police said.
