This is an update to my previous technical demo inspired by Doom 3.
I reworked several visual and gameplay aspects to enhance the atmosphere, interaction, and tension of the scene:
- Improved dynamic lighting and FX (Niagara system)
- More reactve AI behaviors
- Updated shooting system with better visual feedback
- Reworked sound and ambient effects
- General optimization and smoother performance
- Asset modeling done in 3ds Max, Painter, Designer and ZBrush
- Includes original sound effects from Doom 3 and Alpha Doom 3
This scene was built in Unreal Engine 5.5
The goal is to recreate Doom 3’s intense and heavy atmosphere with a personal touch.
