The Maryland Transportation Authority is reminding travelers of the ideal times to cross the Chesapeake Bay Bridge ahead of Memorial Day weekend. AAA Mid-Atlantic anticipates some 873,000 Marylanders will travel for the long weekend, 88% of which will drive. Over the course of the weekend, more than 340,000 cars will travel the Chesapeake Bay Bridge, so MDTA police seek to ensure everyone is following the rules of the road.
