Actor George Wendt died peacefully in his sleep at his Los Angeles home, according to his family. The 76-year-old was in failing health, suffering from kidney issues, and had difficulty walking. Wendt's last public appearance was on a podcast hosted by his former "Cheers" castmates Ted Danson and Woody Harrelson. Wendt's weight reportedly rose to 350 lbs. In January, he was wheelchair-bound as he left a dialysis clinic.
