Anne Arundel County police are investigating a woman's death as a homicide. County police said officers received a call for a reported overdose around 6:05 a.m. on April 4 to the 1200 block of Lorene Court in Pasadena, where they found Heather Elizabeth Beaver, 34, of Pasadena. She was taken to a hospital, where she later died. Police said officers found evidence of drugs at the scene and of a possible assault. An autopsy determined the cause of death was a result of blunt force trauma, with the manner of death ruled as a homicide.
