French fruit tart with Pastry Cream (Crème Pâtissière)

Do you miss summer? What if I tell you summer is at a fork distance from you, with this fruity, elegant but really simple to make, tart. Fresh fruits, silky vanilla cream and crisp crust. Sounds amazing, right? This tart goes along with a cup of coffee or tea in the morning, or a dessert after your meal.

For making this amazing french bakery display-worthy tart you would need:
For the crust
• 1 egg
• 300 g flour
• 150 g cold french butter
• 70 ml water
• Pinch of salt

For the filling
• 500 ml milk
• 6 egg yolks
• 120 g of sugar
• 40 g of starch
• 1 vanilla bean
