Footage shows Putin warplane losing fuel tank that crashes onto its OWN city

Footage caught the scary moment Vladimir Putin’s elite Swifts aerobatics team ‘bombed’ its own territory over a Russian city.

A trail of smoke was seen from a falling object as five MiG-29 warplanes flew over Chelyabinsk, population 1.13 million.

Some watchers initially thought a combat-capable plane from the famous Swifts team - equivalent to the RAF Red Arrows - had crashed.

Reports then said part of one of the performing warplanes had broken off.
