Injured fire officer's family seeks prayers for his recovery

A Baltimore City Fire Department officer was critically injured Monday afternoon after suffering a medical emergency while perched on an aerial ladder, the fire chief said. While providing an update Tuesday on Monday night's unrelated warehouse fire, Baltimore City Fire Chief James Wallace said a BCFD member suffered an injury at the scene of a fire on Saratoga Street near Park Avenue in downtown Baltimore. Lt. Mark Dranbauer, 44, a 23-year BCFD veteran, suffered a medical emergency while he was on an aerial ladder, Wallace said.
