Families enjoyed taking self-guided tours at some of Maryland's renowned thoroughbred farms. Guests at Willowdale Farm in Reisterstown got behind-the-scenes looks at the rich equestrian heritage while enjoying the countryside, meeting mares and foals who could one day be a Preakness champion. The 150th running of the Preakness Stakes takes place Saturday.
