A man was hospitalized and a parade was canceled Saturday morning in Laurel after a propane tank exploded. According to the Prince George's County Fire Department, firefighters were called around 7:12 a.m. to the 500 block of Main Street for reports that a food truck vendor's propane tank exploded. Two people were injured; a man was taken to a hospital with serious, but non-life-threatening injuries. Another person declined to be taken to a hospital. City officials said the explosion occurred during vendor setup and was contained.
