"Eye 2 Eye: Live in Madrid" is a live concert performance by Alan Parsons released on both DVD-Video and Audio CD on April 6, 2010 on the Frontiers label. The show was performed with his band Alan Parsons Live Project, and was recorded live at the Plaza Mayor, Madrid, Spain, on May 14, 2004.

The original DVD of EYE 2 EYE was released as a 720x480 stream and a relative low bitrate and 4:3 aspect ratio. The cameramen and director did an excellent job, but the resulting video quality was still a bit poor for the modern standards.

That's why I decided to make this attempt to bring the concert to 2024.

The following changes have been made:

-The whole video has been upscaled to full HD (1920 x 1080).
-A very advanced AI-based process has been applied in order to recover details and increase resolution.
-The frame rate has been changed to 60fps using AI frame interpolation.
-The aspect ratio has been cropped to 16:9. Because of this, most scenes have been reframed manually using a traditional tilt and scan process.
-Although video levels were very well adjusted in the original video, there still was some room for contrast improvement.

Due to the lack of video quality and the low resolution, the upscaling algorithm makes some weird artifacts on some scenes (especially long shots).

I attended myself this concert in 2004 and brings me beautiful memories, so this is my personal tribute to Alan Parsons and his work.
