Maryland paused and reflected on the legacy and sacrifice of fallen heroes on Friday, a commemoration of the 40th Fallen Heroes Day. The Dulaney Valley Memorial Gardens event honors hundreds of first responders lost in the line of duty. Nine Marylanders joined the ranks on Friday.
