President Trump arrives in Michigan, hugs Governor Whitmer

Air Force One arrived in Macomb County, Michigan on April 29, 2025. President Trump was greeted by Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer. Whitmer appeared at an event with Trump at Selfridge Air National Guard Base in Macomb County. Trump has vowed to keep the base open amid fears it could close as a fighter jet mission there is being phased out. (Video provided by Associated Press).
