A driver tested the water-readiness of his jeep in an incident that was caught on camera in the west Australia town of Claremont, near Perth. Witnesses report the Jeep Wrangler was seen driving onto a jetty. Once there, police tried to negotiate with the driver. They reportedly spoke for an hour, before the man reversed the vehicle and then allegedly tried to accelerate it into a police boat. It didn't hit the boat, but it did hit the Swan River.
