An Anne Arundel County firefighter rescued a pet dog stuck in a house fire. The Anne Arundel County Fire Department said firefighters were called on March 4 to a house fire on Revell Road in the Fairhaven area. As firefighters extinguished the fire, they learned a pet dog might have been inside. Officials said Firefighter Buranen heard an unusual noise. Then, with fire above him and smoke all around, he found Buster up against a wall under a window. Buranen rescued Buster and returned him to the homeowner. Buster had some minor burns to his fur and has since healed well. Buster and his family stopped by the Harwood-Lothian Fire Station to meet and thank his rescuers.
