Drug-trafficking investigation recovers 10 guns, illegal drugs

Police arrested two men in connection with a monthslong drug-trafficking investigation across Maryland and Pennsylvania. Maryland State Police identified the men as Alishawaine Monk, 34, of Port Deposit, and Ronald Dugger, 45, of North East. Both are charged with various drug offenses. Monk is prohibited from possessing firearms and/or ammunition, police said. Both men remain held without bail at the Cecil County Detention Center. State police said troopers executed search warrants on April 17 at the men's residences and at storage units. Police said troopers seized 10 firearms, including a Bushmaster AR-15 rifle that was reported stolen from Hagerstown, and multiple magazines, firearm accessories and ammunition.
