A judge on Tuesday sentenced a man charged in connection with the 2023 Brooklyn Day mass shooting that left two people dead and 28 people injured. Five people were charged in connection with the July 2, 2023, mass shooting at the Brooklyn Day block party. City police said several people started shooting, killing Aaliyah Gonzalez, 18, and Kylis Fagbemi, 20, and injuring 28 more people, including 15 minors.
