A judge is expected Tuesday to sentence a man charged in connection with the 2023 Brooklyn Day mass shooting that left two people dead and 28 people injured. Tristan Jackson, 19, pleaded guilty in March to lesser charges that included second-degree assault, conspiracy to commit first-degree assault and firearms charges, according to the Baltimore City State's Attorney's Office. He faces a minimum of five years in prison without the possibility of parole and a maximum of 12 years. Jackson was not charged with murder and did not plead guilty to murder. No one has actually been charged with murder nearly two years after the mass shooting.
