Maryland union leaders and Baltimore City leaders are observing Workers Memorial Day at City Hall. It's a time to remember people who died on the job and take action for safer work conditions. Baltimore City Council President Zeke Cohen and Councilman Jermaine Jones, D-District 12, are expected to join union leaders and members for a news conference at 11 a.m. Monday, at which they'll honor the workers lost this past year and call on leaders to prioritize worker safety and policies to improve conditions on jobs.
