Baltimore police are investigating an explosion at a shopping center. City police said officers were called around 2 p.m. Sunday to the 6300 block of Eastern Avenue, near the Wendy's and Home Depot. Police said a man detonated an unspecified device near people. The man and the people fled, police said. No injuries were reported. City police said its bomb squad and arson officials are investigating alongside federal law enforcement partners and the Baltimore City Fire Department. The FBI's Baltimore Field Office said it was aware of the incident and is in touch with law enforcement.
