Some students at the Maryland Institute College of Art are concerned about their self-expression and creativity amid an updated policy that has left them in disarray. Students who spoke with 11 News Investigates on Thursday and Friday expressed dismay and disappointment over an updated college policy that they likened to censorship. An updated policy was sent out via email on April 15, weeks before a senior art exhibition. MICA's updated policy sets new limits on creative expression and community responsibility. Some students said the policy update is having a chilling effect.
