The Caucus of African American Leaders gathered in front of the United States Naval Academy to protest an executive order by President Donald Trump that bans books. The executive order removed books by African American authors, saying they will not be used in the curriculum. Attorneys, clergy, educators and Maryland residents expressed outrage over the banning of books at the press conference.
