Putin's troops hit as Ukraine enters Russia’s Belgorod region for first time

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky has confirmed for the first time that Kyiv’s forces are operating inside Russia’s Belgorod region.

Footage shows Ukrainian troops launching attacks on Russian soldiers sheltering inside buildings near the border.

Russia claimed last month that it had pushed back similar cross-border raids in the region.
