March was a mild month for customer usage numbers, Baltimore Gas and Electric told 11 News, meaning customers may soon see some energy bill relief. In March, the average residential gas heating customer bills were 40% lower than February and 56% lower than January. The March average residential customer electric heating customer bills were 36% lower than February and 53% lower than January, the utility said.
