The future of Carnival Cruise Line in Baltimore could soon expand. Maryland signed a five-year deal late last year with Carnival to keep the cruise line at the Port of Baltimore. Now, the company is unveiling its "Innovation Itinerary," saying it's exploring moving a larger class ship to Baltimore in 2027. A larger ship class can accommodate about 1,000 more guests than the Carnival Pride, which is currently deployed from Baltimore.
