Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott released his proposed budget on Wednesday. It includes investments in everything from timely trash collection to opioid response efforts. The budget also includes a plan to make up for an $85 million deficit. Scott said his team will do balance the deficit by finding areas to update regulations and increase fees in the city, all while investing in the community through places like the historic Chick Webb Rec Center.
