Despite U.S. Donald Trump's continued push to take over Greenland, Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen reiterated Denmark's position that the semi-autonomous Danish territory belongs to the Greenlandic people.
Meanwhile, Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered a speech at the Arctic Forum on Thursday, saying the U.S. desire to acquire Greenland was serious, as it's not the first time plans were made.
Danish government ministers have condemned what they called Trump's escalated rhetoric regarding the Arctic island.
