Speaking at the Key Bridge commemoration ceremony, Shanaysha Sauls, president and CEO of the Baltimore Community Foundation, spoke to the fundraising effort to support Baltimore families and businesses: "Today, we remember and honor the human faces and resolve borne of a tragedy. This is a heavy day. To the family and all those gathered this morning, we mourn, but please know, no matter how long the winter, spring will surely come ... Thank you for showing what it means to be compassionate, to rally when faced with the unexpected and when it matters most."
