Wednesday marked the start of the dismantling of the Maryland Air National Guard A-10 unit. The first of the "Warthog" aircraft took off Wednesday morning, destined for a boneyard at an Air Force base in Arizona. 11 News broke the unit closure last year after the Pentagon decided to close the unit stationed at Martin State Airport.
