US President Donald Trump and the Governor of Louisiana are delivering remarks at the White House.

Trump has said he expects an agreement between the US and Ukraine on the latter’s critical minerals will be signed soon.
The deal was expected to be signed last month but was put on hold amid President Zelensky’s public falling out with Trump and vice-president JD Vance in the Oval Office.
Today Trump said “we made a deal on rare earths” with Ukraine. “Will sign soon,” he added.
Trump also told reporters as he met his cabinet that the United States was talking to Ukraine about the potential for American firms owning Ukrainian power plants.
