When you hear about the Bulgarian capital, you probably imagine communist apartment blocks, gypsy slums and dodgy markets, but that is far from the truth. Sofia is a vibrant city with beautiful monuments, buildings and churches, like many other European capitals, while preserving some of its Soviet past, at least for now.
