There's a secret exit on Delta Labs - Level 2a: Union Aerospace Research Division, which is almost always used by professional speedrunners to save a lot of time in the level. To take it, first enter Dr. Ian McCormick's laboratory and go to the closer disinfection room door labeled "CHAMBER 1". Then stand in the corner to the left of the door and rocket jump.

This secret exit allows you to jump over a significant amount of progress, however, if you use it, you will not be able to pick up Dr. Ian McCormick's video disc with an explanation and some interesting facts regarding the lore.
