Woman responds to husband bringing home neglected one-eyed cat

Hey, buddy. What?
He had a severe infection to both ears, an eye injury, no teeth, his ears were also mutilated. One eye, which was the dead eye was removed and closed up. We also found out that Bruiser had diabetes so we had to give him injections of insulin every 12 hours. That lasted several months.

Bruiser was doing quite well for the past few years. Recently, Bruiser started to exhibit new health issues and now takes heart medication. But despite myriad of challenges, Bruiser is running around and eating well. We just love him so much. He's been a wonderful cat. I can't imagine life without him.
