A contemporary indie rock radio station hosted by Nate Williams and Stephen Pope, members of the then popular Wavves band. The home of real rock and roll, a dirty, unkempt and vulgar radio station, mainly for the younger generation of people. Many songs on the air of the radio station are somehow connected with Burger Records.

🤔 *F.A.Q.*

*1. Why 2014?*

- Because the latest current version of the radio station was made in 2014, with the release of the game on PS4 and XBOX ONE, when the playlist of the radio station was updated.

*2. Why did you add exactly 20 songs, two of which are from the original game? Why are there so many/few advertisements and news on the radio?*

- The latest, at the moment, current version of VBR has exactly 20 songs in the playlist. I don't want to stray too far from the original, and made my alternate playlist as close to the original as possible, keeping the same number of songs, and also keeping two of my favorite songs (from the PS3/XBOX360 and PS4/XBOX ONE/PC) versions of the radio station.
- Before starting work on the alternative VBR, I listened to this radio station in the game for several hours to determine the frequency of appearance of commercials, news and DJs on the air, as well as to make a sequence diagram of songs, jingles, commercials, and so on for this radio station. Therefore, if you think that my alternative version of VBR has too much/little advertising and news, know that I relied on the original.

*3. Why did you make a live background? Why not a static image?*

- I wanted to show a live location in the game, which I associate with Vinewood Boulevard Radio. Personally, I find that a live background looks more interesting and better than a static image.

*4. What program and resources do you use?*

- I'm working on the audio part in Audacity, on the video part - in CapCut (PC version). I use many resources, some of them are Discogs, Wikipedia and YouTube, as well as my music collection.

*5. Will there be other alternative radio projects?*

- Yes. In the future, I plan to create my own completely fan-made radio stations, mainly for the GTA series of games. But creating projects, especially large ones, takes me a lot of time, so videos don't come out that often. By the way, there will be alternative radio projects not only for the GTA series of games, but also for Fallout, Watch Dogs, NFS and Driver (alternative soundtrack), and many others.
