On September 2nd, Riot announced that The Guard's former roster would be treated as a FA team and allowed to find an org to represent them. This is excellent news, but doesn't solve the core issue. We don't know how this process works, or how Riot will navigate the pitfalls I talk about, or what happens in the future if a team refuses the TPA or gets denied with players under contract.
