The Easy Bit is a feature length documentary about the male perspective of fertility treatment.

It is rare for men to speak out about a subject such as infertility. The Easy Bit sets out to break the silence.

Infertility affects one in six couples in the UK. There is very little information about what it is like for a man to experience Fertility Treatment. In “The Easy Bit”, six men talk candidly to camera about going through the stages of fertility treatment. From the initial diagnosis through to making the decision to try fertility treatment, going to the clinic, the hormone treatments, egg collection and sample giving, the implantation procedure, the two-week wait and finally taking the test.

All medical information, statistics and research was correct at the time of production. Procedures and processes described are based on those most commonly used by the NHS in the UK at the time of production.

Please be aware that every case of infertility is unique and what works for some may not work for others.
