During the Second World War, many German Prisoners of War were sent to Britain to work inside of different camps that had been set up. Generally the conditions were good, and the death rate was very low but one German Sergeant Major experienced a horrific death and execution inside of one prison camp, but he was executed by his own men and his fellow German soldiers. Wolfgang Rosterg was imprisoned alongside many ardent Nazis, and he himself was opposed to the war at this point.
He had become dissatisfied with Hitler and the German War Effort, but because of this when he voiced his opinion he was subjected to a horrific execution and death. His fellow prisoners turned on him, and they would not accept his ideas.
