Half-Life is Great... Don't Play it

Half-Life was incredibly popular in 1998 (and still is I'd say). But you should also try out Black Mesa, as it's just as good, if not better than the original. (But you should still play the original though)

Black Mesa is a fan made remake of Half-Life by Crowbar Collective. They really did a lot with this game, and it shows, considering it's been in development for more than 10 years. If you enjoyed the original Half-Life, I really recommend you try out Black Mesa. It can be summed up as: Half Life if it was made in the modern age. Black Mesa has massive changes to the original, and whether you like them or not is up to you. But if you like the changes, then I'd argue that Black Mesa is possibly better than the original.
