Turkey-bound EasyJet flight makes emergency stop in Budapest after passenger gets 'aggressive' towards staff

An easyJet flight from Manchester Airport to Antalya, Turkey was forced to make a diversion to Budapest in Hungary so local police could remove a disruptive passenger.

Sheffield man, David Hector, was on the flight with his family and caught footage of the moment Hungarian Police boarded flight EZY2139 to remove the man. Mr Hector told The Star the man had started to act "aggressive" to the cabin crew.

A spokesperson for easyJet said: “The safety and wellbeing of passengers and crew is always easyJet's priority.”
