Police confirm body of Nicola Bulley found in River Wyre

Lancashire Police have confirmed that the body discovered in the River Wyre yesterday was that of Nicola Bulley, the mother of two who has been missing for three weeks.

In a statement, her family said they would always love Nikki and could now let her rest.

But they had harsh criticism for the behaviour of the media and members of the public, accusing them of having vilified their friends and family and intruded on their private grief.
